I think you're referring to Alan Stivel - a Breton harpist and singer. I
have a few of his records and tapes - very good music!!

I agree, Mike.  I love Stivel's music -- very "haunting."  By the way,
his first name is Alain (not Alan).  Unfortunately, he does not seem to
have a website.
