I'd be happy to, except that it had nothing to do with Fiete signing off.
Dan addressed Fiete regarding his rejection of any orthographic reform, and
I let Dan know that Fiete was no longer on the List.

Woh! Where did *that* come from?  Have I been a naughty boy?

Folks, Fiete signed off.  It was not the first time, by the way.  He was
kind enough to write to me about it, and he used a friendly tone.  I don't
feel at liberty to divulge details of this personal communication.  Suffice
it to say that apparently Fiete's decision had nothing to do with anything
any of us did or said, more about how he felt.

Ja, ja.  Dat dou ik al eyrstdaags, dat un dusend annere saken! In dey
twüschen-tyd maal weg vun myn inkeln, Jy jungen, över-rischen, hibbeligen,
davenen terrier-byters!  :)
