Vun harten wilkamen to us grup. A warm welcome to a fellow conlanger.
We've written to eachother on occasion on various conlanging lists -
glad to have you on board. I've already been urging Reinhard/Ron to give
detailed (!!!) ;-) description of his Neo-Hanseatic orthography. Despite
my being particularly in love with my own spelling system - I'm also
mystereously drawn to his!

Reinhard ik wul di man vragen, wat du 'n on-line-born hest vöör
Middelneddersassische texte in manuskript schriifwiis. So wiid ik dat
læsen hef, gaef dat ook de grapheme <ij> un <ii> vöör diin <y>. In en
apen silbe hef ik daar ook niks ni tægen, wat du <y> bruken daaist,
bloots in de slaten silbe wil ik jümmers en langen vokaal mid
dubbelvokaal schriven. En paar annere variatjonen vun
Middelneddersassisch wul ik geern man uutprobeern. Kanst du mi daar wat
wisen?

That must be because it's so good ... unless the captivating charisma of its

<ii> kümmt tou meyrst in 't Nourd-Vreyssche vör, man dey meyrsten
"Platdüytschen" vindt dat tou snaaksch, tou vrömd.  Dat hett my 'n paar vun
jüm segd.  <ij> lett jüm tou "Hollandsch", ook dey Neddersassen vun dey
Nedderlanden; dey schryvt vaken <ie> or <i'j>.  Dat nadeyl vun <y> alleyn
is, dat dey lüyd' in Düytschland dat as "ü" uut-spreken wült.  As dat tweyde
deyl in twey-luden lykt my dat goud, ook wyl dat 't dey Düytschen wyst, dat
<ey> nich as Düytsch <ei> [aI] uut-spraken wardt.  Kan wesen, dat <ÿ>
("y"-ümluud) 'n gouden kompromiss is, man dat nadeyl is, dat 't
internatschonaal nich vaken bruukt wardt, un dat 't nich up Düytsche
schryvmaschinen tou vinden is.  Man, je langer ik daar över na-dinken dou,
je beter lett my düt schriftbild mit <ÿ>.

Dey stüyr ik Jou tou, wen ik wat meyr tÿd hev.  Ik mut eyrst maal kramen, un
