Kumpelmenten,

Folks, now there's an online mail order store for all things Low Saxon ("Low
German"): "Plattschapp" http://www.plattschapp.de/ . It belongs to Birgit
Frese in Lunenburg (Lüneburg). The site is entirely in Low Saxon. I thought
this resource may be useful to those among you who otherwise have a hard
time getting these sorts of things and prefer one-stop shopping situations.
Apparently, not everything is in stock (t.B. _Ik löw ik bün 'n Stück vun
di_, Hinstorff 2002, and the dictionaries published by the Low German
Institute). However, it seems we are welcome to write to Ms. Frese
(plattschapp at web.de).
No, Low Saxon material of the Eastern Netherlands is unfortunately not
included, but a book about Southern Jutish (sunnejysk/sønderjysk) is.
[This is not meant to be commercial advertising.]
Regards,
Reinhard/Ron
