Hello Ron,
I just finished reading a wonderful book about Gerard Kremer and thought it
might be an interesting for some of our Lowlander friends. The details are
as follows
"Mercator The man who mapped the planet" by Nicholas Crane, ISBN 0297646656,
Weidenfeld and Nicolson. It is set in the times of Mercator, 16th century,
in Brabant, Antwerp, Liege, Born, Maas areas and Duisberg (all areas I
love). It is in my opinion an excellent rendition that creates the spirit of
the times for the reader.
Cheers
Peter Snepvangers
