To Jenny, Diederik, Ron and Other Lowlanders interested in "doen" as an
auxiliary verb.

Here is a very nice example in a Dutch word, and no, Jenny, it does not
belong to a specific dialect. It is "De Dooddoener" (literally deadmaker,
killer) and it is used in a totally figurative sense as the remark that puts
an end to any further discussion (like a sort of intellectual "Duh").
As such it is the spiritual cousin of the Dutch word for Mace, "De
Goedendag" which also gets gets its message across with a thud.
