Some time ago I wrote that I asked a friend to make an Arabic version with
vowel notation, and an Iraqi Arabic translation of The Wren.
I sent him the Arabic translation that was already on the site, and the
Dutch version as well, so that he could translate them.
Yesterday he told me at the phone he never got my mails about it, but he
would be glad to do that. So now I sent them again, and hopefully we'll
get our Arabic and Iraqi Wrens soon!

Thank you very much for that and for other Anniversary Project
contributions, Ingmar.

Could you ask your contact if he is able to word-process the text, and in
either case if he could give us either the vowel punctuation (so we can
transliterate the text) or provide a transliteration himself? If he
word-processes it and doesn't know how to do the vowel punctuation, could
you ask him to add the punctuation by hand and then either send me the
hardcopy, a graphic or PDF file of it?

Apparently there are several of us that are "sort of" able to follow
Arabic texts but are not sure about the vowel assignment. (As you may
know, in Arabic, as in Hebrew, vowels are not normally written but can be
indicated by means of added diacritic symbol, and several "consonant
skeleton" words are written identically but have different vowels. You
need context and sufficient competency to read everything correctly.)

Thanks again,
Reinhard/Ron
