Lowlanders living at or near the eastern end of the Gulf of Mexico in the 
United States of America and Mexico,

Many of us are watching as the latest hurricane is gathering strength and 
heading your way.  I know that I speak for everyone when I send you our 
moral support and ask you to take all possible safety precautions.  Be safe, 
folks, and please let us know, on- or off-list, how you are faring!
