I just watched Stephen King's "Rose Red" on DVD yesterday night.
It is situated in Seattle, your (ex?) home town, Ron. Do you know
that movie?

Hoi, Ingmar!

Nope, I've never read a Stephen King book, haven't done a lot of fiction
reading lately.

(The last novel I ready, thanks to our Elsie, was the South African Mark
Behr's _The Smell of Apples_ which I really enjoyed and recommend --
http://library.spokanefalls.edu/The_Smell_of_Apples.htm,
http://muse.jhu.edu/journals/modern_fiction_studies/v046/46.1barnard.html.
For some reason I have a predilection for South African literature, be it in
English or Afrikaans.)

I suppose Seattle is "creepy" enough to suit King's needs. (OK! OK! Don't
beat me up, folks!)

Regards,
Reinhard/Ron

P.S.: I'm still with one foot in Seattle, currently seem to be a resident of
both Washington and California, since I have addresses in both states and am
now registered to vote in Ahnolt de Gahvuhnator'ss Kahleefoahniah.
