But Ron, those black-and-white with their pretty smellings also brings us,
beside milk and honey, together all over the world because:

Het Fries-Hollands veeras is in de 19de eeuw, vooral vanaf ca. 1875, door
strenge selectie en zonder invoer van andere rassen vnl. in Friesland en
Noord-Holland ontstaan. In alle andere Europese landen wordt dit zwartbonte
veeras eveneens op grote schaal gefokt, net als in verschillende Afrikaanse
en Aziatische gebieden. Fokkerijen van van dit ras afgeleide zwartbonte
rassen bestaan in Groot-Brittannië (British Friesian), Frankrijk (Française
Frisonne), de Verenigde Staten (Holstein-Friesian), Canada, Zuid-Afrika,
Australië en Nieuw-Zeeland.
