Jonny,
Ik ken een oolde sage van een heks mit de naeme _Rixt_, Rixt van 't Oerd
(van oons waddeneilaand Amelaand). Disse Rixt wodt ok wel _Ritskemooi_ nuumd
en in oonze omgeving bin wel jonges (!) die Ritske hieten. 'mooi', Fries:
'meu' =tante.

De sage:
Rixt woont mit heur (vissers)man en zeune op et Oerd. Heur man komt op zee
omme en Rixt kan haost niet rondkommen. Heur zeune Sjoerd gaot ok as
visserman de zee op. Om wat extra te verdienen beluut Rixt om naachs mit een
laampe schippen te lokken die dan stranen op et Oerd. Op een keer het ze
weer 'beet' mar vint tussen alles wat anspoeld is ok een liek. Ze daenkt an
goolden ringen om zien vingers mar et bliekt heur ienige zeune Sjoerd te
wezen. Ze krigt now vreselik spiet dat ze schippen naor et Oerd toe lokt
het. As et vandaege-de-dag stormt op et Oerd dan kuj' heur nog roepen
heuren: Sjoe-oe-rd..., Sjoe-oe-rd...!
