Now that IS fascinating!   We are tracing /trying to trace right now further
refences to a Flemish family who settled here roundabouts c 13th century and
were known by the surname as Flandrensis  or Flemings. So certainly there
were Flemings around here.

What would the Flemish form be? "quebb"  "qwebb"  and would this still be c
13th century?
