From: "Marenich, Peggy" <Peggy.Marenich at thyssenkrupp.com>
Subject: Resources

 Hi Lowlanders--

I posted a message on September 12 under the subject "Resources" in which,
among other things, I inquired of Marsha and Arthur about good source
material for Appalachian studies. According to the Archives, three other
postings with the same subject followed during the second week of September,
but I can't access them due to a server error at Linguist, so I don't know
the *who* or the *what* of them. If they were responses to my posting, this
is to thank those of you who sent them and to let you know why I never
acknowledged them.

In the meantime, I have been studying the "Meet Lowlanders" page from the
Anniversary Celebration (fascinating!), which led me to Michael Montgomery's
University of South Carolina web page, so I think I've answered my own
question. The Appalachian resources listed there should keep me busy for a
long while to come.

 Regards to all,

Peggy Marenich
