Dear Ron,
     Greetings from Hong Kong !  My name is Eugene Chan ( 陈西林), I have been
working on numeral systems of world’s languages for many years.  Many thanks
for your previous help.
     I am now working with Bernard Comrie on documentations of numeral
systems of world’s languages, with special attentions on endangered numeral
systems, as traditional numeral systems of small languages are susceptible
to be replaced by dominant languages. I have built up a website hosted by
the Max Planck Institute for Evolutionary Anthropology in Leipzig , Germany
and I will share all the data in due course to promote the research of small
languages and raise the awareness of endangered numeral systems.
    However, I am still looking for data for Ili Turki and some smaller
Germanic languages.
    Today, I am very glad to have your e-mail address from your wonderful
website, so I am now sending this e-mail for your help.
    If time permits, would you mind doing me a favor? I will be very
appreciated if you and your colleagues could help me with data on the
numeral systems for Ili Turki and some of the following Germanic languages
or dialects, or kindly put me in contact with linguists working on some of
these languages:
  A. High German:
        Upper Saxon, Lower Silesian, Mainfränkisch, Limburgisch,
Pennsylvania
        German, Pfaelzisch,  Hutterite German, Mócheno
B. Low Saxon-Low Franconian:
        Vlaams, Zeeuws, Achterhoeks, Drents, Gronings, Twents, Veluws,
         Sallands, Stellingwerfs, Westphalien, Eastern Frisian
       If you agree to help me, I will send you a simple questionnaire.
