Sorry about that email - I rambled on a bit then deleted more than I
meant to and sent it without noticing that I'd lost the context and the
argument didn't make much sense!

I was mainly trying to say that for people who feel politically
motivated to push a flag forward, the design is of very little concern
compared to the importance (to them) of actually having a flag. Hence
why the result can easily be ill-thought out (and, yes, boring!).

Ron: simple, maybe, but different, no. It's pretty much a description of
the Welsh flag (with a horse instead of a dragon) or the Somerset flag
(with a horse instead of a wyvern).

Which isn't saying it's bad, a horse on a background would be distinctive.

Actually, I was rather entertained by that posting, Sandy.

With a dreary gray background? ;-)

Now I’m on board.

Hallo Lowlanners,

beögt un up mien Oort wieldess recherchiert.

dacht.....? Hübsch is sei villicht, man helpt dat uns' Spraak?

ankeken.

Nu schuul ick noch eins nah mien Mäkelborgsche Fahn, de hier in mien
Arbeitsstuw hängt un heff mien Freud an.

Mit ein hartlich Gräuten.

Hanne
