Dear Lowlanders,

I suggest that those of you that can read German and (like me) are
interested in the larger context of the Eurasian continent visit the online
magazine *Eurasisches Magazin* (http://www.eurasischesmagazin.de/). It
offers an extensive range of subject areas as well as a convenient archive
and a subject index. For instance, there are articles about current affairs,
culture, education, history, archeology, travels, and much more, including,
yes, language ... covering subjects such as language politics, use,
education and history.
