I'm looking for a good pedagogical explanation of the three verbs meaning
to try in Russian. I have looked in all the obvious places: Townsend,
Leed's Advanced Russian, a Sov. Dictionary of Synonyms, even some
materials on lexicon from Moscow. Does anyone recall if there's been
anything in the AATSEEL newsletter or perhaps iin the Russian Language
Journal. I'd like to see some good exercises as well. Thanks! Emily Tall
