A discussion of pytat'sja, starat'sja/po-, and probovat'/po- is included in
Unit 20 of the Workbook/Laboratory Manual accompanying my intermediate
level textbook, **Grammatika v kontekste: Russian Grammar in Literary
Contexts**. Similarly structured discussions of "to stop," "almost," "to
change," "only," and "to use" may be found elsewhere in the same
Workbook/Laboratory Manual (in Units 4, 5, 14, 15, 16, respectively).
There are only 1 or 2 exercises accompanying the explanation for each of
these topics due to length constraints.
