The Department of Slavic Languages and Literatures at the
 University of Southern California invites applications to a
 one-year replacement position, with possible extension to
 two years.  Preferred areas of expertise are 19th and 20th
century Russian poetry, perhaps also 19th century prose;
 ability to teach undergraduate general education courses is
