The Program on Gender & Culture at the CENTRAL EUROPEAN
UNIVERSITY, Budapest is now accepting applications for fellowships
for the 1998/99 academic year  (for students from Central and Eastern
Europe,  the former Soviet Union and Central Asia). Additional
financial aid is available for students from other countries.

The Program on Gender & Culture offers a set of comprehensive
graduate-level courses in gender studies which exposes students,
through quality coursework, individual tutorials and thesis writing,
to a wide range of theories and issues and methodologies in gender &
culture studies, with a particular focus on the post-1989 Central and
Eastern Europe/former Soviet Union. The Program offers MA and M.Phil
degrees as well as 3-10 month fellowships for visiting doctoral
students.
