Multilingual support in Windows 98 ?

I have multilingual support for Russian and West Slavic running just fine
under Windows 95.
I seem to recall hearing that Windows 98 was less Slavic-friendly in this
regard, and would
like to know before upgrading. Anyone have any experience in this?

Best to reply to ME (not the list), and I can post the bottom line.

Thanks in advance.
