copyright issues for contemporary poets

Robert,

I was happy to see copyright issues discussed here at SEELANGS and was
hoping you could answer a question I've had for a while: in the Russian
Federation, is it fifty years after the death of the author or publication
of  work? If the work was edited, etc., following the death of the author,
then does the 'fifty year period' apply to the editor? Please reply off
list. Thank you very much.
