I disagree. Pushkin's Tsar Sultan (Saltan) says:
"Bud' odna iz vas tkachihoj, a drugaja povarihoj" as an award for the
sisters' promisses. There is no negative overtone at all there while we
find later that they are actually bad girls. The tsar does not know it at
that moment.
