Nachalo Book 1?

We get through 6 chapters at best in Nachalo Book1 and start Book 2after 
finishing Chapter 7 in the second semester having 5 contact hours a week 
in a 16 week semester.  The publishers gave us a "bundle" deal 
consisting of textbook, workbook, student cd & dictionary for a good 
price.  The price is not really outrageous compared to textbooks for the 
sciences, social sciences and literature courses and comprable to other 
foreign language texts.
