Leningrad cowboys and Leningrad

Someone said that the price of crosss-culturalism might be some initial confusion.
Could some SEELANGERS by any chance be confusing the Leningrad cowboys, a Finnish band that has been around since the late 1980s, with the band Leningrad, a Russian ska-punk band that provided three songs to the soundtrack of Everything Is Illuminated, as did the Gogol Bordello band???
