My colleague from another Dept., who speaks no Russian, is planning a trip to Moscow and St.Petersburg in August. This site offers apartments, hotels, visa and registration help, and city tours for very reasonable prices, suspiciously so. 
If you or anyone you know used this site or know of other ways for non-Russian speaking tourists to stay in Moscow for less than $350 a night, please let me know at
