Dear colleagues
As usual, the Russian philosophical vocabulary is a direct translation  
from German Romantic philosophy : "самопознание" is  
Selbsterkenntnis, just like "самоcознание" is  
Selbstbewusstsein, or "закономерность"  is  
Gesetzmässigkeit, or "целеустремленность" is  
Zielsträbigkeit, etc.
All that does not make the translation easier, but it is important to  
understand the origin of the terminology.
