Translation of medical specialty

Thanks to everyone for their responses, especially Paul Gallagher's
extended discussion. His caution to keep "специальность" distinct
from "специализация" makes me wonder how careful the creators of
the diploma were with their own choice of words, or even what
exactly they were trying to convey.
