  The is a follow-up to the discussion about Melanie's web-site for etymology.

   I do not have her web-site address;  perhaps someone could forward this
message to her.  I would be willing to provide advice to her on
etymological matters  (no charge).  All she needs to do is send me her
questions via e-mail, and I'll  see what I can do.

   Making errors is an integral part of etymological work, but I can
probably help her avoid some of the obvious  pitfalls.
