A bomb scare that caused the closing of Thirty-third Street to all traffic between Seventh and Eighth Avenues for five hours yesterday morning ended when a suspicious suitcase was opened...and was found to contain only clothes, carving knives and an alarm clock in a wooden cigar box.

Suspicion was deepened when a fluorescope examination by the Police Bomb Squad at 1 a.m. revealed the presence of pieces of iron and wire in the suitcase.
