>*Is* it Turkish? Are the "i"s front or back? What does it mean?
My ignorance of Turkish is so profound that I have trouble using the
Turkish on-line dictionaries. It looks Turkish. "Pishti" seems to mean
"cooked" or so, and it's the name of a card game (often "pisti": I guess
it's "s-cedilla" or "hooked-s" or whatever, like in Romanian). I think
they're dotted "i"s. I can't find "tish".
