   I can't answer Fred's queries.  I'm doing parking tickets every single 
day.  This all makes no sense.

   I wanted my e-mail address published, not my telephone number...The 1926 
"Big Apple" was mistaken for the 1924 "Big Apple" quote...I sent a copy to the 
Fair Grounds and to the Mayor of New Orleans.
    
WINDY CITY--I sent an e-mail to the Chicago Historical Society about "the 
Windy City" about March 7.  I sent an e-mail to the Newberry Library's 
ENCYCLOPEDIA OF CHICAGO HISTORY project to help me, and that was also forwarded to the 
CHS.  It's now been weeks and weeks.  No response.
   I got something today!  I was somehow put on the E-News mailing list of 
the CHS!...I haven't felt this great since I e-mailed Oprah, got no response for 
over a year, and then received an e-mail on how to buy Oprah products.
   Go ahead, Fred or Sam, try the CHS.  Ask the research department why 
Chicago is called "the Windy City."  It's real fun.
