Does any know if any work has been done on the "@" symbol as a gender
wildcard in Spanish? It's kind of like the equivalent of "he/she" in
English: instead of writing "Chicano/Chicana," one might write
"Chican at ." There are also examples online of Latin@(s), niñ@(s),
Mexican@(s), and in a few places, the plural articles and adjectives
are wildcarded, too, as in "L at s Niñ@s Palestin at s."
