I wasn't looking for antedates of the basic idiom. My search for and post of
hits for "horse *it* rode in on" (emph. added) was in response to Scot
LaFaive's comment

horse you rode in on." I found it interesting because I'm not sure I've
heard heard or seen it without the object of "fuck" being a person, and
especially not an abstract noun.
