This is called juncture, I think?

Though I am but an English major, hanging out with you-all for these last ten years has taught me something, I hope.

Having moved to the frontiers of civilization recently, I hear advertisements on a radio station I listen often to for doings at the county fair grounds. In the current one, the announcer speaks rapidly, so he can get in all the good stuff in his 30 seconds; the shows include a an exhibition of Sheep and Wool from Family Farms.
Now, I *know* that he's saying Sheep and Wool from Family Farms, but I've heard the announcement a dozen times and I still haven't *heard* that. What I do hear is an exhibition that the Dutchess County ASPCA would shut down before it could even open.

But maybe I am hearing correctly. These frontiersmen are a pretty rough lot.
