Great article in the Times on Vocal Fry

There's a nice article in yesterday's NYTimes about vocal fry. Interestingly it came up in my American Dialects class yesterday, with one person complaining about it and others saying (as expected) 'but everybody does it'. Several of the usual suspects are mentioned.
