Certainly “cross-tweet” is in use, though I’d never heard of it; it certainly seems like a reasonable interpretation of that 2009 citation. It appears you have to an X account to search on the platform. I looked only on Google and found only the citations I provided after filtering out false positives, such as people whose names end in “X”.

Both of my citations, however, seem to mean “X (formerly known as Twitter)”. 

WRT to “xeet", SpeechModification provides four pronunciations, beginning with the sounds z, zh, sh, eks. She notes that “xeet” is likely to soon fade.
