Thank you, Garson. I had been thinking 'giclee' could be antedated to 
the 1980s, based on a dim recall of terminology I encountered while 
working with printmakers in that decade. Now I'm not so sure. The 
Canadian Connection still gives me pause, but lacking evidence to the 
contrary I guess I must accept the Harald Johnson account.
