ISO character coding

Lhush chxi pulakli,

Yes, there have been several writing systems for Chinook Jargon. The most
standardized have been:

	-- That of the Demers / Blanchet / St. Onge dictionary;
	-- The _Kamlups Wawa_ Duployan shorthand orthography, which as
		you may have read recently here on CHINOOK, has resisted
		attempts at computerization so far, but can be
		transliterated into a very regular Latin-based alphabet;
	-- The current orthography used by the Confederated Tribes of the
		Grand Ronde Community, Oregon.

Other orthographies have tended to be attempts to piggyback on English-
language spelling conventions.

I think that there are more than one "Latin" character set in ISO, so can
there be multiple Chinook Jargon character sets as well?

Cheers,
Dave
