Translation help request - climbing club motto

I am the member of the One Step at a Time (OSAT) mountaineering club in
Seattle (ref http://www.osat.org) and am seeking help in translating the
motto of our mountaineering club into Chinook Jargon.

Many entities express their  mottos in Latin or some other language to
provide a sense of ancient foundation.  Given that one of the purposes of
OSAT is introducing the natural world in the Pacific Northwest to people
seeking to establish clean and sober lives, I thought it would be
appropriate to provide to the club the motto in Chinook.  I have been
fascinated searching through the resources on the web and learning more
about Chinook, in which I initially became interested while researching
local geographic names.

The long-standing motto of our club is "Keep climbing mountains, and don’t
slip."  The history behind the motto is available at
http://www.osat.org/traditions.html#motto.  You will see that "
and don’t
slip" is a play on the word "slip", having the double meaning of both
physically slipping while climbing as well as the AA sense of staying clean
and sober.  It is in attaining the best possible reflection of this double
meaning that I seek the help of anyone on the Chinook listserv.  I am also
uncertain what the best translation would be of the word "Keep" in the
sense of  "to continue on a course or not deviate from ", and the best
negative to use for "don’t".

Below I have listed the words and phrases I have found to help me, although
those of you who are more familiar with Chinook may well have other
suggestions.  I also have not studied enough to know any subtleties of
Chinook grammar.   I look forward to hearing any advice you may be willing
to share.
