Double consonants in Lushootseed?

How about the dictionary-Lushootseed final double q in CEduqq (Chinook
Wawa)? Using it as a model, when I began learning Lushootseed I wrote my
name as "lilEdd", the first of the d's being a denasalized n, but I was
advised by several of my linguistic elders that it was better to write
"lilEnd" and I have done so ever since.
