Are these words for BC game animals?

I don't remember for sure whether I've ever heard the phrase "paper salmon"
in English or pipa-samEn in Chinook. So I tried Googling it, and got no
hits at all (after filtering out all the office suppliers and online
recipes). Can anyone tell more about paper salmon?
