LaXawya khanawi Laksta,
In Jacobss Texts in Chinook Jargon, namely in A stingy girl is taken
away by mountain people, told by Mrs. Howard, page 11, para. 15,
appears Gwe:t for way. Is this the same word as that one spelled in so
many ways (wayhut, hwehkut, weehut, ooakut, oihat, oihot, uyhêt, etc.) or
it is a different word?
Hayu masi,
Francisc
