I thought quite a bit about this one, and Scott's take is pretty close to mine.
If "halow" is indeed to be read as CW hilu 'gone, nothing', the only way it
makes sense to me is as an exclamation:
hilu!, kEltEs! 'gone! destroyed!' (freely translating kEltEs 'worthless').
Of course, there's no guarantee that what the guy actually said was accurately
