CW => Tlingit => Athabaskan

CW lam => Tl naaw => Northern Tutchone no' [high tone] & Ahtna
naw 'whiskey'
Possible reinforcing evidence for the Tl => Athabaskan linguistic 'grease
trail' is the Dogrib word for 'God / Lord', k'aowo [last syllable has low
tone]. This resembles Tlingit dikee ankaawu, oddly since Dogrib isn't in
direct contact with Tlingit.
Anybody else able to add to this? Mind you, there are many more Russian
loans (and in Ahtna, maybe even Eskimo ones) than CW ones in northern
Athabaskan.
Sources that inspired this note:
"Ahtna Noun Dictionary"
"Selkirk Indian Language Noun Dictionary" [Northern Tutchone]
"Tlicho Yatii Enihtl'e" [Dogrib dictionary]
