Maybe it's an avatar of Quetzalcoatl, who, because he passed through
their country from the North en route to his meeting with Cortez, was
taken by the Saboba as a Northwestern Indian. (Sorry, I'm just
starting my fifth consecutive 60-hour work week and I'm not thinking
too clearly.)
