Corpora: spam?

dear list members,

i am sure i am not the only one who doesn't want to download heaps of
unnecessary and unimportant emails to stuck his/her mail applications. it
is just annoying when you open your email and you have dozens of emails
from "james l. fidelholtz" or "grigorio parisi" - just to mention a couple
of them - that all include the same message. i apologize if i am mocking
wrong people, but this really is getting on my nerves. so far i have
regarded this mailing list as "spam free" but obviously there is still need
for netiquette education.
