[Corpora-List] corpus linguistics

Perhaps I'm naive, but the solution to this disagreement seems  
straightforward: set up a low-traffic (perhaps moderated) mailing  
list primarily for the dissemination of CFPs and other announcements  
related to corpus linguistics, and let corpora-list continue to  
handle questions and discussions.  This is a common model in the open- 
source community, where many projects have a low-traffic list for  
announcements of software releases and future plans, and a high- 
traffic list for  technical discussions and questions, usually  
populated with frequent and helpful contributors.

ICAME would be the logical owner of such a list, but anyone with a  
linux server and the mailman software could do it in a few minutes.
