Dear colleagues,
The conference *3. Euskal Mundu Biltzarra: From Basque to the World *will
take place in *Bilbao on 20–22 October 2027* and aims to bring together
researchers, practitioners, policymakers, social actors, and language
communities working on the present and future of *Basque and other
minoritized and minority languages around the world*. A forum for
reflection will be provided on the challenges facing society as a whole and
on the role that languages will play in addressing those challenges.
The *Call for Papers is open until September 30, 2026*, and we warmly
invite contributions addressing Basque or any other minoritized language.
We are particularly interested in fostering dialogue between academic
research, language policy, community initiatives, education, technology,
and language revitalization efforts.
Participation in the conference will be free of charge, and no registration
fee will be required. Conference website and Call for Papers:

We would be very grateful if you could share this information with
colleagues, research groups, professional associations, mailing lists,
newsletters, and relevant community networks that may be interested. Your
support in helping us reach a broad and diverse international audience is
greatly appreciated.
Thank you very much for your collaboration.
With best regards,
Jasone Cenoz (on behalf of the Organising Committee)
