Acc. to the study, people do associate something truth-evaluable to
quantified expressions as soon as they occur in the input string,
online, "at runtime", so to speak. If something truth-evaluable
emerges after moving things around, this seems to rest on a later
process, at clause level, perhaps comparable to backtracking garden
paths. If constraint accumulation achieves online interpretation, it's
perfect! But, as said, it surely is a bit shaky to interpret logical
representations in procedural, psycholinguistic terms.
